Traveling to different countries enriches us and fills us with creative energy we put into each of our artworks. Discovering new places and stories combined with the beauty of nature and the sea are the driving force of our creativity… Because Crea Gifts is a CREAtivity nourished by curiosity about the world, fine arts and everything beautiful.

You are probably also curious to learn how and where we find the beautiful sea treasures that we use to make our artworks. We love the sea and our trips to any sea destination necessarily include the so-called “treasure hunt” or beach combing. We research the beaches in the area in advance and we are very happy if there are urban or rocky beach spots. The chance to find sea treasures is bigger, because more often glass or ceramic objects fall among the waves there. Thanks to its interaction with the sea waves, rocks and sand, sea glass gains its unique shape, roundness and shine.

Most often, our “business trips” for sea treasures hunting are to Mediterranean Sea destinations in Italy, Greece, Spain, France and other places in Europe. We combine the pleasant with the useful, and while walking on the beach, we look carefully for multi-colored glass, pottery and pebbles. All kinds of bizarre shapes and colors are discovered, and at once many ideas of what can be created with them arise.

Among our favorite finds are turquoise, navy blue, red and yellow glass, which are less common, as well as heart-shaped pebbles or painted pottery tiles. The friends of Crea Gifts also help us and often share the treasures found during their travels to the seaside.

After we return from the “sea treasures hunt” we thoroughly wash and clean the finds, then sort them and we are ready to go – recharged and inspired to do what makes us happy. Namely, to create unique pictures, pebble artworks and sea glass jewelry which will become a wonderful and unique gift for your loved ones (friends, family, colleagues), and why not for yourself, too.
